Welcome to Reelix. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you download, access, or use the Reelix mobile application and its related services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read this document alongside our Terms of Service. By continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and uninstall the application.
The term "Personal Data" in this policy refers to any information that directly or indirectly identifies a natural person, consistent with the definition under applicable data protection laws.
We obtain Personal Data through three channels:
What we collect depends on which features you use. Full details appear in Sections 03–05 below.
Images and video files you upload are processed exclusively to generate the AI output you requested. We do not repurpose this content for unrelated uses.
Certain generation features may ask you to select a style or gender parameter (e.g., Female, Male, or Other) to tailor the output. This selection is used solely for that generation and is not stored as a profile attribute or used for targeting.
If you create an account, we may store your email address and assign an internal identifier to manage your account and subscription.
When you subscribe or make an in-app purchase, we may receive limited transaction metadata — subscription tier, payment status, transaction ID, and receipt URL. All payment card processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play; we never receive your full card details.
If you contact our support team, we collect your name, email address, and message content to investigate and resolve your inquiry.
Any additional information you choose to submit through the Service, such as feedback or survey responses.
Reelix exists to turn the images, videos, and other visual content you submit — some of which may show people — into AI-generated videos, images, or other visual outputs. To deliver a particular result, the Service may run automated computer-vision routines over your upload: locating faces in a frame, identifying the main subject, estimating pose, evaluating composition, or examining other visual cues as the job requires.
This processing only occurs because you actively triggered a specific creation — for example, image-to-video, first/last-frame interpolation, template-based video generation, text-to-image, image-to-image, or one of our other AI creation tools. Facial information is never repurposed to recognize you, validate your identity, watch your activity, follow you across services, target ads, or assemble a biometric record.
Reelix is an app for AI-driven video and image creation. Uploading photos that include a person — say, a portrait you'd like to animate — is a normal and expected workflow.
To make video effects look coherent, and to keep a subject's appearance steady across frames, scenes, or template variants, we may carry out narrow technical inspection on the content you submit (for instance, checking whether a frame contains a face or human subject). Anything examined is in service of the requested result — bringing a still image to life, applying a template effect, or holding a character's look consistent through a generated clip.
Facial information is not used for identification, authentication, identity verification, surveillance, behavioral tracking, advertising, audience profiling, or biometric analysis of any kind.
We do not build, persist, or maintain any face template, facial-geometry signature, biometric identifier, or comparable record capable of identifying an individual.
Parts of the AI generation pipeline — together with the content-safety review that wraps it — depend on external AI providers. When you trigger a creation, the material you have voluntarily supplied (images, videos, text prompts, generation parameters, template choices, task metadata, and the technical signals needed to execute the request) may be transmitted to our backend and from there to selected third-party AI services.
The current set of third-party AI providers Reelix may engage:
Each provider handles only what is necessary to complete the AI generation, safety review, or related task you triggered. None has been authorized — and none is instructed by us — to apply your uploaded images, videos, facial information, or any analysis derived from them to identity recognition, identity verification, surveillance, tracking, advertising targeting, the construction of facial-recognition databases, or biometric profiling.
Each provider publishes its own stance on faces, biometrics, data use, retention, model training, and security. The pointers below name the specific sections worth reading rather than restating them here:
[OPENAI] — see "Respect privacy" in Usage Policies (usage-policies); see "Our commitments" and "Model training FAQ" in Enterprise Privacy at OpenAI (enterprise-privacy).
[ALIBABA] — see "Privacy protection" in Security certifications and privacy (model-studio/privacy-notice).
[GOOGLE] — see Section 1, "Do not engage in dangerous or illegal activities…", in the Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy (generative-ai/use-policy); see "How We Handle Data" in Gemini API Abuse Monitoring (gemini-api/usage-policies).
[xAI] — see Sections 2 ("Personal information we collect") and 3 ("How we may use personal information") of the Privacy Policy (x.ai/legal/privacy-policy).
Regardless of which third-party provider executes a given request, your uploaded images, videos, facial information, and any derived facial-analysis output are not sold or rented. Without your clear and explicit consent, none of that material will be used to train any machine learning model that Reelix operates.
Uploaded images, videos, text prompts, generation parameters, results, and the task records that accompany them are kept only for the period the Service genuinely needs to function.
Facial-analysis records, biometric templates, and facial-geometry signatures capable of identifying a specific person are not stored. Any short-lived face-related visual data examined during a generation job is discarded — or simply never retained — once the job completes.
Your uploads, the resulting generations, and the corresponding task data may sit on our systems for a reasonable window so we can display results back to you, support history and re-access, defend the Service against abuse, run content moderation, troubleshoot errors, respond to your requests, and meet legal obligations. To have related data removed, reach out using the channel at the end of this policy.
Automated safety systems help us detect — and block — generation requests or outputs that could breach our Terms of Service, including nudity, violence, unlawful material, or other inappropriate content. Template pages and result pages each surface a clearly visible Report entry point so anything problematic can be flagged for review.
If our systems decide that a request or its output likely violates the Terms of Service, an in-app notice may appear, the generation may be blocked or its result withheld, and — depending on the circumstances — the credits consumed for that attempt may be restored to your balance.
Subject to applicable law and your consent where required, our systems may automatically collect the following as you use the Service:
Full payment processing is handled by the platform where you subscribed (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card information.
You can opt out at any time:
If you opt out, we may still receive limited aggregated attribution signals that cannot identify you individually.
Depending on features used, the app may request the following permissions:
You may revoke any permission at any time via your device's Settings. Revoking certain permissions may limit feature availability.
We process Personal Data for the following purposes, subject to applicable law:
Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
We share Personal Data only where it is lawful, necessary, and proportionate. We do not sell your Personal Data.
We engage third-party vendors to help operate the Service. These providers act as data processors and may only use your data for the specific purposes we designate, subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations. Categories include:
We may disclose Personal Data when reasonably necessary to:
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or reorganization, Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you as required by applicable law and take reasonable steps to ensure continued protections are in place.
We and our partners may use SDKs, in-app analytics tools, and similar tracking technologies to understand how users interact with the Service. These technologies are used for:
You can manage or disable tracking via your device's privacy settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect Service functionality.
Do Not Track (DNT): Some browsers and operating systems transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. Because no universally accepted technical standard exists for interpreting these signals across mobile contexts, we do not currently alter our data practices in response to DNT signals. You may use device-level privacy controls to limit tracking.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and processing purpose. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
You may delete your account at any time from the Account section within the app. Deletion permanently removes your Personal Data from our systems, subject to any legally mandated retention requirements.
Important — Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through your platform's settings before deleting your account:
Upon account deletion, any unused in-app credits or subscription access will be forfeited and are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Refund requests must be directed to the platform through which you made your purchase.
The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us immediately at help@reelaipro.com so we can take prompt corrective action, including deletion of the relevant data.
Reelix is built on top of a stack of third-party SDKs, APIs, and platforms that handle pieces of the experience we don't run in-house — including AI content generation, content-safety review, account sign-in, purchase verification, crash analytics, marketing attribution, and customer support. Together, they keep the Service operating, secure, analytic, and continuously improving.
Where these providers touch personal data, they do so under our instructions and only to the extent the underlying service genuinely requires. We require reasonable confidentiality, security, and data-protection practices from them — through contracts where appropriate.

We collect the categories of Personal Data described throughout this Privacy Policy. Specific categories and their purposes are detailed in Sections 03–06.
We do not sell Personal Data for monetary consideration. Where "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising applies under CPRA, you may opt out via your device's advertising settings or by contacting us.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit CCPA/CPRA requests on your behalf. We will verify both your identity and the agent's authorization before processing the request. Contact us at help@reelaipro.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Where an update materially affects your rights or our obligations, we will provide advance notice through the app or other appropriate means, or seek your consent where required.
The effective date at the top of this document indicates when the current version was last revised. Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised terms.
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or how we handle your Personal Data, please reach out — we aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
